They say, “There is no place like home,” yet for some, the statement has descended into “There is every place but home.” What was once a sanctuary has turned into a place of misery for many. Even beyond the walls of the home, ties have been severed and the fabric of social cohesion has begun to give way. For a Muslimah, these bonds are indeed sacred. Yet at times she wonders how she can harmonise the heavy tides that threaten not only her peace, but her relationships as well. Join us for this month’s sisters’ circle, where we will explore how becoming personally better can, in turn, cultivate harmony within the home and beyond, inshaa Allah.
