Classical Readings of Sacred Texts – For Female Students/Scholars

Weekly circles for female students of knowledge/scholars to read various texts of the Islamic tradition, together as a group. This would, primarily, be under the supervision of the facilitator. However, with eventual progress, it is hoped that some participants may be able to supervise their own readings within the same circle. Generally, the texts will be from the hadith tradition; this would give rise to the potentiality of formal ijaazat in hadith transmission being issued to participants where applicable and where it is deemed worthy.
